I have dramatically increased my ability to connect with people in my local community and around the world. Although I had studied Spanish in college, when I began my Speak Spanish! course I had extremely limited confidence and ability to converse. Now having completed the course, I find myself wanting to speak in Spanish with everyone I meet! Unlike traditional Spanish courses, Spanish Over Coffee motivated me to bring Spanish outside of the classroom and into my daily life. It has empowered me to strengthen relationships with Spanish speakers in my life, and to build new relationships by starting conversations with courage and with ease.
